Enjoy the funniest farce ever written with Noises Off play tickets

Backstage antics take centre stage as Michael Frayn’s Noises Off play returns to the West End! Felicity Kendal stars in this triumphant 40th anniversary production of “one of the most joyous farces ever written” (WhatsOnStage), which delights in behind-the-scenes drama and guarantees belly laughs. After a 5-star season at Theatre Royal Bath and Phoenix Theatre, audiences can enjoy it once again at Theatre Royal Haymarket this year.

Michael Frayn’s sublime comedy is a play within a play following a touring theatre company as they stage brand new farce Nothing On. The rehearsals are a disaster, the cast are embroiled in their own petty arguments, and the matinee in Ashton-Under-Lyme is an absolute shambles! As the spectacularly catastrophic final performance in Stockton-on-Tees hurtles into view, get ready to watch every cringe-worthy moment unfold, silently, from the wings.

Noises Off is Frayn’s comic masterpiece and one that has kept audiences in stitches for over 40 years. Slapstick humour and a sense of hilarious voyeurism are the winning components to its success, and director Lyndsay Posner‘s star-studded anniversary production amps them up to full effect.

The Noises Off play cast includes Felicity Kendal as Dotty, Jonathan Coy as Frederick Fellows and Alexander Hanson as Lloyd Dallas, with full casting to be announced. Kendal has starred in Posner’s production since its 2021 premiere in Bath, and puts her excellent comic timing to use from celebrated work in The Good Life and Hay Fever

This classic show has “lost none of its power to reduce well-behaved adults to hysterical wrecks” (Daily Mail) and is sure to keep the laughs coming as it enters its fifth decade on stage! Don’t miss Noises Off as it tears up the West End from September 2023.
