In demand playwright Florian Zeller has another hit up his sleeve, don’t miss The Truth tickets

Florian Zeller’s latest play The Truth transfers to Wyndham’s Theatre after a critically acclaimed run at the Menier Chocolate Factory and the Theatre Royal Bath. Following unprecedented success with The Father, which enjoyed two West End runs in the past year, Zeller’s The Truth is the latest in a string of successes, set to open at Wyndham’s Theatre in June.

Focusing on a man caught up in a tangled love affair, The Truth is a hard-hitting examination of friendship, suspicion and deceit. In a new version by Christopher Hampton (Les Liaisons Dangereuses), who also delivered new versions of The Father and The Mother, The Truth is a biting new play that discovers what happens when the truth is finally uncovered.

Directed by Lindsay Posner (The End of Longing), The Truth features design by Lizzie Clachan and original music by Matthew Scott. Reprising their roles are Tanya Franks (EastEnders, Broadchurch), Alexander Hanson (Stephen Ward, A Little Night Music), Frances O’Connor (The Missing) and Robert Portal (Around the World in 80 Days).

Florian Zeller’s heart-wrenching The Father has received huge acclaim across the globe, winning the 2014 Moliere Award for Best Play, an Olivier nomination and is currently up for Best New Play at the Tony Awards. Breaking the Menier Chocolate Factory box office records for a straight play, The Truth opens at London’s Wyndham’s Theatre for a strictly limited run beginning on June 22nd 2016.
