ABBA Mania
Take a Chance on ABBA Mania tickets as this tribute show will turn you into a Dancing Queen
For over 20 years, ABBA Mania has been sweeping fans of the iconic Swedish pop group into a frenzy with their feel-good, dance-tastic tribute. Now, the tribute show is making a long-overdue return to the West End to play a socially-distanced engagement at the Shaftesbury Theatre this summer.
Forming in 1972, ABBA have since become one of the best-selling music acts of all time, selling over 150 million records worldwide and gaining many smash-hit number one singles and albums, including “Waterloo”, “Mamma Mia”, and “The Winner Takes It All”. The band’s legacy was further cemented with the arrival of the record-breaking musical Mamma Mia! which was adapted into a hugely successful film, starring Meryl Streep and Julie Walters.
ABBA Mania premiered in 1999 and has played over 3,000 shows across the UK, Europe and around the world, reaching three million people. In 2002, the tribute show arrived in the West End for an 18-week season at the Strand Theatre (now Novello Theatre), which coincidentally is where Mamma Mia! continues to play today.
ABBA Mania is the perfect treat for ABBA fans, both old and young, to celebrate one of the most loved music acts of all time and to say Thank You for the Music! Catch it at the Shaftesbury Theatre from 21st May.
