If you could create a new musical inspired by a celebrity or historical figure, who would you choose? This autumn, following a triumphant return to the Edinburgh Festival Fringe, the hilarious Shamilton musical comes to London’s The Other Palace for a strictly limited run. A triumph with critics and audiences across the world, the “simple yet brilliant” (One4Review) show created by the US’ renowned comedy ensemble Baby Wants Comedy is not to be missed.
Inspired by Lin-Manuel Miranda’s Tony-winning smash hit Hamilton, over the course of the evening you will help the cast create a hip-hop musical parody based on a different historical figure or celebrity. From Kim Kardashian to Steve Irwin – The Crocodile Hunter, the improvised shows also feature choreography, soaring vocals and incredible songs, leaving audiences with one of the most unique nights at the theatre they’ll ever experience!
Created in 2016 after its debut in Los Angeles, Shamilton! arrives in London after acclaimed sold-out runs at the 2023, 2024 and 2025 Edinburgh Fringe. The show returned to Edinburgh this summer.
The Shamilton musical cast includes Anna Bortnick, Chris Grace, Allen Lucas, Lily Ludwig, Will Naameh, Adam Payne, Adrien Pellerin and Daniel Tepper. They form part of Baby Wants Candy, a critically acclaimed improv troupe from America who have appeared on Broadway, television and stages around the world.
Shamilton! features musical direction by Adrian Pellerin, who also accompanies on keys. It is produced by Baby Wants Candy and Al Samuels.
