Get swept away to the Kingdom of Arendelle with Frozen tickets

After the worldwide success of 2013 movie Frozen, Disney Theatrical Productions have adapted the film into an astonishing musical, following in the footsteps of The Lion King and Mary Poppins. The show has been hailed with praise, and has earned three Tony Award nominations including for Best Musical, as well as winning a Drama Desk Award for Outstanding Puppet Design.

The show follows the same plot of the movie, as audiences are transported to the kingdom of Arendelle and meet two royal sisters: Queen Elsa and Princess Anna. When Elsa unleashes her icy powers and gives Arendelle an eternal winter, she flees, leaving Anna to team up with an ice harvester, reindeer, and adorable snowman to find Elsa and stop the eternal winter. Frozen explores the concept of ‘true love’ and the bond between two sisters, making it a true Disney musical for our time.

The show features the much-loved songs from the movie including “Let it Go” and “Love is an Open Door”, as well as some new numbers, penned by Robert Lopez and Kristen Anderson-Lopez, who also wrote the songs for the film.

Samantha Barks plays Queen Elsa. Barks other credits include her Broadway debut in Pretty Woman the Musical, playing Vivian, the character originated by Julia Roberts in the 1990 film, and Eponine in the film adaptation of Les Misérables in 2012.

With intelligent design and a gorgeous score, Frozen at Theatre Royal Drury Lane is the perfect treat for all ages.
