Kander and Ebb’s murder mystery musical Curtains is set have its London premiere at the Wyndham’s Theatre amidst an ongoing UK tour. Jason Manford, Carley Stenson and Rebecca Lock star.

In Curtains, a bad Western adaptation of the Robin Hood story is reaching its conclusion when the glaringly untalented leading lady is murdered during her opening night curtain call. The entire company comes under suspicion, and Detective Frank Cioffi is called in to solve the homicide. Can he solve the case, save the show, and get the girl before the curtain rises, without falling into the hands of the murderer himself?

Comedian Jason Manford is no stranger to musicals, having in recent years starred as Pirelli in Sweeney Todd at the Adelphi Theatre, and both Leo Bloom in The Producers and Caractacus Potts in Chitty Chitty Bang Bang on their UK tours. He is joined in Curtains by Carley Stenson (Les Misérables, Legally Blonde), Rebecca Lock (Kiss Me Kate, Heathers), Samuel Holmes (Shrek), Leah Barbara West (Beauty and the Beast), Alan Burkitt (Top Hat) and Andy Coxon (Hair).

The production is directed by Paul Foster. Curtains has a book is by Rupert Holmes, with an original book and concept by Peter Stone, music by John Kander and lyrics by Fred Ebb.

A truly unique musical with a stellar cast, Curtains will play from December 13th until January 11th 2020.
