Find your spirit with My Neighbour Totoro play tickets

The coming-of-age, award-winning play will be making its West End debut at the famous Gillian Lynne Theatre in 2025. For any fans of the 1988 anime movie, you won’t want to miss the sell-out production as it kicks off its run in the heart of London. Be sure to get your tickets to the re-imagined telling of the My Neighbour Totoro play, now booking for 2025.

The Royal Shakespeare Company’s production of the My Neighbour Totoro play follows two sisters, Satsuki and Mei, as they explore the magical fantasy world of their childhood by using their imagination to the full extent. The story is told using spectacular puppetry, unlike any other puppetry that has been seen in West End productions. The young girls move to the countryside with their family, and while exploring their new surroundings, they stumble across the ancient protector of a forest which Mei names Totoro. The two sisters get swept up in the magic world of spirits, sprites and natural wonder. After two sell-out runs at The Barbican and 4 Olivier Awards including Best Set Design and Best Costume Design, the play is set to be popular. So we recommend grabbing tickets soon before they become limited.

The cast hasn’t yet been announced for the play, but keep your eyes on the official My Neighbour Totoro play website and socials as the company will be announced closer to the opening date.

The play is produced by the Royal Shakespeare Company and Joe Hisaishi (My Neighbour Totoro, Dolls), working alongside the director, Phelim McDermott (The Ghost Downstairs, The Hunchback of Notre Dame) and music supervisor Bruce O’Neil

If you’re a fan of the popular anime movie or you’d like to experience something different at the theatre, head down to the Gillian Lynne in 2025 to meet the mythical guard, Totoro. The award-winning play is set to be popular with theatregoers, so grab your tickets now before they become limited.
