The Lehman Trilogy tells the story of three Bavarian brothers who arrived in New York in 1844, ready to live the American dream. The brothers went on to establish a firm, aptly named Lehman Brothers, that collapsed into bankruptcy and triggered the largest financial crisis in history. The play is set out in 3 parts, with the three actors portraying the Lehman brothers, their sons and grandsons in this thrilling production.
John Heffernan (Nachtland), Aaron Krohn (Spamalot) and Howard W Overshown (A Soldier’s Play) will be reprising their roles of the Lehman brothers, sons and grandsons following the successful, recent San Fransisco run. Joining them on stage is Cat Beveridge and Anyssa Neumann as principal pianist and alternate pianist.
The show was originally directed by Academy and Golden Globe Award-winner, Sam Mendes, the mastermind behind American Beauty, Revolutionary Road and Skyfall, with further creatives to be announced.
