Oh What a Night! Jersey Boys, the musical sensation based on the life and music of The Four Seasons, is returning to London’s West End in Spring 2021.
Jersey Boys, the Tony, Olivier and Grammy Award winning musical, will be the inaugural production at the Trafalgar Theatre when it opens next year. Formerly Trafalgar Studios, the Trafalgar Theatre will reopen in April 2021 following a multi-million pound redevelopment, merging its two smaller studio spaces into a single auditorium.
Taking audiences behind the scenes on the lives of Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons, Jersey Boys follows the band from their working class beginnings in New Jersey, to international superstardom and the backstage drama that lead to the band’s break-up.
The musical features a raft of hit songs, including “Beggin’”, “Sherry”, “Walk Like A Man”, “December, 1963 (Oh What a Night)”, “Big Girls Don’t Cry” and “Working My Way Back to You”.
The Trafalgar Theatre cast includes Ben Joyce (Frankie Valli), Adam Bailey (Bob Gaudio), Benjamin Yates (Tommy DeVito), and Karl James Wilson (Nick Massi).
Jersey Boys premiered on Broadway in 2005 to great acclaim, before transferring to London’s West End in 2008 where it played nine hugely successful years at the Prince Edward Theatre and Piccadilly Theatre.
Audiences will be Beggin’ for a ticket to Jersey Boys when it opens at the brand new Trafalgar Theatre on 14 April 2021.
Jersey Boys at the Trafalgar Theatre contains strong language and some adult themes, which may not be suitable for younger audiences – parental guidance advised.
