The Tiger Who Came to Tea play tickets are roarsome family fun!

Who’s that knocking at the door? The Tiger Who Came to Tea play prowls back into the Theatre Royal Haymarket for another summer season in 2024, and it’s set to be purrrfect for little ones! David Wood OBE’s celebrated stage adaptation of Judith Kerr’s children’s book is a firm favourite for young theatregoers who can get swept up in the magic and mischief of this classic story.

Sophie and her mother are just sitting down for tea when they hear a knock at the door. Who on earth could it be? A large, stripy tiger?! Another place is set at the table for their unexpected guest, but he is much hungrier than they expected… will there be anything left in the house once his tummy is full?

Judith Kerr’s picture book debuted on stage 15 years ago and has become one of the most popular West End shows to take pre-schoolers to for their very first theatre trip. It was nominated for a prestigious Olivier Award and has won the biggest prize of them all: sparking children’s imaginations with vibrant, fun storytelling and interactive sing-a-longs.

The Tiger Who Came To Tea play is adapted and directed by David Wood, who has a fantastic reputation for turning classic children’s books into unmissable theatre shows. His other credits including Babe the Sheep Pig, Meg and Mog and The Witches. The show also features boisterous, infectious choreography by Emma Clayton and design by Susie Caulcutt.

This roar-some show will keep the whole family entertained when it returns to London over summer 2024! Invite yourself to the most mayhem-fuelled tea party you could possibly imagine by booking your tickets today.
