Celebrating its 30th anniversary, smash-hit 80s musical Fame leaps into London’s West End after a UK tour. It will arrive at the Peacock Theatre on 11th of September. This will be the 7th production of Fame the Musical in the West End since its opening in 1988.

Based upon the film sensation of the same name, Fame the Musical follows the lives of students at the prestigious New York High School for the Performing Arts. Meet an array of talented dancers, singers, actors, and musicians as they navigate their way through the highs and lows of life. Topics in the show reflect similar issues many young people face today, such as prejudice, substance abuse, sexuality, pride, and identity.

This production stars Keith Jack (Any Dream Will Do, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat) as Nick Piazza, Mica Paris (Chicago, Love Me Tender) as Miss Sherman, and Jorgie Porter (Hollyoaks, Dancing on Ice) as Iris Kelly. Further casting is to be announced.

Direction and choreography for this production comes from Nick Winston (Rock of Ages UK tour, Annie), with musical supervision by Mark Crossland, design by Morgan Large, lighting design by Preme Mehta, and sound design by Ben Harrison. The show is musically directed by Dustin Conrad.
Featuring the Oscar-winning title song and an outstanding cast, Fame the Musical will indeed live forever!
